• Miramar Wholesale Nurseries custom grew Washingtonia robusta and Cocos plumosa installed in the recent Clairemont Square remodel. Star Jasmine and Bird of Paradise were two of the many shrubs installed in the renovation. Torrey Hills continues to install rare custom grown Torrey Pines throughout the project. Complemented by Plantanus racemosa, Quercus agrifolia, Cistus cobariensis, Pennisetum, and many others, this massive project is taking shape just east of the freeway 805 & 5 interchange.

Currently in production are large Strelitzia nicholai and Phormium ‘Cookianum’ for the new Disneyland Drive, being developed as part of the new Disney park and renovation in Anaheim.

Shipped to Las Vegas this spring were truckloads of Prunus vesuvius. The trees were custom grown for the Summerlin project.

• Many MWN plants can be found in the newly opened Riverwalk Golf Course in Mission Valley. Planted as part of the renovation were Raphiolepis, Photinia, Jacaranda Trees, and the popular new perennial Verbena ‘Tapien.’ Black Horse Farms in La Jolla selected trees from Miramar Wholesale Nurseries new Vista Hill Collection...Harpulia arborea and Bauhinia purpurea.

• Our plant materials continue to be a part of the immaculate landscape presentations at such properties as the Loews Coronado Resort, the Dana Point Resort, Marriott and Courtyard Hotels, Aviara and Four Seasons Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, La Jolla Colony HOA, and Casa de Manana in La Jolla.
