PROMOTIONS AT MIRAMAR WHOLESALE NURSERIES

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. — The Irvine/Lake Forest location of Miramar Wholesale Nurseries (MWN) appointed a new manager this month. Mitch Farr is the new Commercial Landscape Center Manager. Former manager Sam Banuelos is now outside salesman for Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.

Farr has more than a decade of experience in the green industry. Previously he managed Star Nursery locations in Las Vegas, Nevada, and St. George, Utah. Before joining Star Nursery in Utah, he operated his own landscape company, A New Leaf, also in St. George. Early in his career he worked for Plant Depot in San Juan Capistrano and was a landscape installation supervisor.

Banuelos began working for MWN in May 1999 as a sales associate at the Irvine/Lake Forest location. He studied horticulture at Cal Poly Pomona, and for 20 years managed his family’s nursery in Cucamonga. His new job as outside salesman for Riverside and San Bernardino Counties will open up new territory for the nursery.

Miramar Wholesale Nurseries is Southern California’s leading supplier of landscape plant material and supplies. The nursery grows a wide-variety of perennials, shrubs, and trees at each of their three locations in San Diego, Irvine and San Juan Capistrano, to serve commercial properties, institutions, property managers, and commercial landscapers. MWN is a member of TruGreen LandCare, a ServiceMaster company.
