NURSERY OPEN HOUSE - PLANTS, FOOD, AND FUN
LAKE FOREST, Ca. — More than 200 visitors attended a lunch time open house at Miramar Wholesale Nurseries (MWN) Friday, October 5. The Lake Forest branch hosted the event to showcase the 75-acres of trees and other plant materials grown on-site, plus introduce customers to the new location of the expanded commercial landscape center where supplies are sold.
Tours, seminars and door prizes kept the atmosphere festive. Branch administrator Debbie Antes arranged picnic tables where guests feasted on a barbecue of steak and chicken fajitas, plus tasty home-made salsa, flan and more. Vendors, including Western Farm Supply, Butler's Mill, Certified Growers, and A&F Growers, provided product demonstrations.
This open house follows the successful event at San Juan Capistrano in May. The San Diego site plans to host an open house next spring.
