With more than 21 years of production experience, Moises Barroso is a great resource to clients and Miramar Wholesale Nurseries (MWN). His role as production manager is vital in running the operation and in maintaining the company’s high service standard.

Moises joined MWN in 1994. He began his career at Rancho Growers, where he handled production, maintenance and shipping. In 1983 he joined Springtime Growers to manage order pulling and shipping.

Throughout his career, Moises has effectively drawn on his organizational skills to ensure superior product quality and selection. As a result, he has increased inventory levels and assured MWN better customer satisfaction.

Last year Moises earned MWN’s first Associate of the Year award as special recognition for his dedication and commitment. Thank you Moises for your exceptional work ethic, and setting a fine example for all of us to follow.

Congratulations to Wayne MacLachlan, who celebrates five years with MWN this year. Wayne is a landscape center sales associate in the San Diego facility. The Orange County Chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Association held its annual awards dinner in August. Brian Smith and Associates of Rancho Santa Margarita won the Judges Award for landscape maintenance services at Palmia Retirement Community in Mission Viejo. MWN grew plant materials for the site. Ray Medina, key accounts sales for MWN, Orange County, worked with Smith making landscaping presentations to the board members of the retirement community. Congratulations to all involved.
