Miramar Wholesale Nurseries just upgraded its Web site to make online product availability and ordering even more convenient and functional. The nursery recently unveiled a new Inventory and Ordering section.

When you visit this section, you’ll be greeted by an alphabetized list of the millions of products available to you. You’ll have the option of searching the database by product description, type, category, size, specs and price. At the click of your mouse, all of the products fitting your specifications will be displayed. You’ll even be able to tell which ones are currently available for pick-up or delivery.

Use the site to check prices and availability, or even place your order online. Once you find a product you would like to purchase you’ll have the option of adding it to your “shopping cart” and submitting your order. A Miramar employee will contact you by phone, e-mail or fax to confirm your order and make payment and pick-up or delivery arrangements. For your convenience, your name, address, phone number, etc. will be stored, so you will be registered for your next visit to MWN online. Just enter your user name and a selected password on your first visit and all the information you need is at your fingertips.

TRISTANIA LAURINA

BOTANICAL NAME: Tristania laurina

COMMON NAME: Water Gum

DESCRIPTION: Tristania laurina, native to Australia, is a shapely evergreen tree with a slender, upright habit. The dark green, narrow leaves make an excellent contrast to the small, yellow flowers that appear in late spring to summer along the stems. The tree needs little pruning after established. The 'Elegant' variety has broader leaves and new growth that has more of a bronze color.
