Wholesale Nurseries
 Established
in 1993, Miramar Wholesale Nurseries (MWN) was founded to provide
landscape plant materials to San Diego’s commercial property
managers and landscape contractors. Armed with a strong, clear
vision, MWN set out to fill an unmet need for a conveniently located
wholesale nursery staffed by the most experienced team of experts in
the country. Through hard work and perseverance, this vision has
become reality.
In 1998, MWN expanded to encompass
all of Southern California by acquiring an additional sites in
Irvine/Lake Forest. With two great locations, MWN now services all
of Imperial, Riverside, Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego Counties.
As a result, commercial landscape contractors, property managers,
and other commercial property professionals throughout the state can
rapidly respond to the needs of their clients.
On a national level, in 1998 MWN
was in turn acquired by LandCare USA, the largest commercial landscape
and tree service in the country. And in February 2000, LandCare
USA merged with TruGreen, giving MWN access to greater
resources and creating a cushion against outside economic forces.
The San Diego site is the largest,
occupying 200 acres just off I-805, and the Irvine/Lake Forest
facility sits on 75 acres near I-5. Each houses a wholesale
operation and commercial landscape center, and boasts an expert team
of horticulturists. These experts not only know plants, but also
understand the customer service, and are therefore a tremendous
resource.
